How does consignment work?

You have amazing items. I sell them for you. Commissions for your items range between 30%-40% depending on the sale price of the item, type of item, and the condition of the item. Your items are seen by millions of buyers on ebay and poshmark, unlike brick and mortar stores who rely on foot traffic. My team and I work hard to give your items the best visibility online possible.

How long is the consignment period?

Once all your items are listed, we give each item 9 months to sell. After 3 and 6 month intervals, we will relist items and use price reductions.

How do I prep the items?

Items from smoking homes are not accepted. Items need to be clean, free of drama, pet hair, stains, rips, holes, piling, pit stains, unhappiness, and residue of fun nights out. If I take on an item that needs extra TLC, an additional percentage will be deducted if the item is worthy of sale.

How and when do I get paid?

Payouts occur once ebay return windows close via digital payment processors like Zelle or Venmo. Items in the clothing world do get returned for fit, so I need a buffer of time to make sure your item clears payment. Not often, but often enough that items must “close” before I pay consignors out on them. Let’s say an item sells on Feb 15th- there’s a 30 day return window. You would be paid for that item on March 31st. All payouts occur at the end of the following month once your balance hits at least $150. Most consignors receive payouts every 60 days.

How many items will you take at once?

New clients are limited to a starting consignment of 50 items. Our first appointment will be in person, where I help you choose the items based upon market demand and seasonality.

What brands do you accept/pass on for consignment?

Reselling is an art and a science. Find brands we love and pass on here. We are open to new brands, as the market and climate change weekly, but our decisions must be backed by data. The amount of fashion brands is staggering. Anthropologie alone has dozens of sub-brands.
